Since today you will be telling me, our classmates, and whoever else stumbles upon our blog about yourself, I figured I would do the same.
You guys know me as Mrs. Jordan but my full name is Kasey Lynn Jordan. I was born in Tucson, Arizona (in the US), but I grew up in Sacramento, California. I have a large family that I love and miss very much; they all reside in the US except for a bother that lives in Germany.
Since I graduated from high school, I have loved traveling and being immersed in different cultures. Right after I graduated from high school I lived in Belgium for a year. I also spent a semester in Paris during my undergraduate studies. I have a BA in International Business from Westminster College in Salt Lake City, Utah and a Master's in Teaching Foreign Language from the Monterey Institute of International Studies in Monterey, California.
So far my life in Ifrane has been dominated by work and traveling. Fortunately I love teaching, and I especially love the wonderful students I had last semester and the ones I have now. Another fortunate aspect of working here is the fact that teachers get breaks too. So over the winter break I was able to go on an amazing trip with my husband, Mr. Jordan. Below is a picture of me in the Scottish Highlands.
Within the past year Mr. Jordan and I have been in over 7 countries together and we're hoping by this time next year to add a few more to the list. Right now I am happy with the wonderful students I have in my classes, and I am so happy it's snowing today! Snow is much prettier than rain. Very soon spring will be upon us and I know I will miss the cold winter days. This summer I hope to return to the US to see family and possibly teach at a summer camp. We shall see!
I really appreciate your degrees and especially your bachelor degree in International Business. I guess that it was so interesting. Good luck :)
