HELLO WORLD! And hello gac 1002’ lovely students, As my friends know me, my full name is Jalal Aboulkassim. I was born in El jadida(Morocco) it’s a coastal city that’s near to Casablanca about 80km. I have such a lovely family, it’s like watching one big happy family; Contrariwise of Mrs. Jordan, my family reside in many different country in the world, so it's very interesting if I want to travel outside Morocco. I've visited many countries to know, and I hope that one day I'll be able to visit all of them and to witness al the different cultures and mind thinking. However I love sports, and it's one of my reasons why I joined Aui; Indeed, they are good friends to spend time with, and it's a place where we can create friendship and love due to the pretty girls we have in A.U.I. However, I play with the national team Morocco of volleyball, and I also had some good seasons of football with my team,back to El Jadida, but it's sad that I can't anymore play with the national team because of the university and its law of absences. Still, it's okay. My major is B.A( Business Administration) I can't to wait to apply for exchanges in the U.S or U.K to improve more my language and to have fun with my friends and family there. Despite the fact that I'm away from my family, but we can't denied the truth which is we have such a lovely time ,here, in A.U.I. and thank you guys.

Hi my name is Tazi Hamza .I've 19 years old .I was born in Casablanca but I am Fassi .It's my second semester here in Al Akhawayn University .I like this place ,but I prefer home .So far in my life ,I like  to practice sports especially basketball and soccer .For  the past year ,since I integrate Al Akhawayn University I was in Wydad club of Casablanca  .I was practically practicing basketball everyday and now I hope to be selected with the team here in Al Akhawayn .I love to practice sport ,but I also love watching It .My favorite soccer team is FC Barcelona and My favorite Basketball team is Miami heat .Right now,I can speak 3 languages which are Arabic,French and English. Moreover I am interested to learn two other languages which are Spanish and German .So far this semester I want to pass all my courses and especially mathematics because my major is computer science ,so I consider maths like a key for me to succeed .This summer, I will not work here because it will coincide  with the Football World cup in Brazil ,but I will do it next summer .By this time tomorrow ,It will be the weekend and it will be a chance for us to relax and do what ever we want such as sleeping, practicing sport , work ,or going outside campus .At the end of next year I hope I will get approximately 25 credits in my curses here in Al Akhawayn so that I can apply for the program of exchange student.

High Hopes

My name is Yassine, they have told me that my grandfather chose this name for me, but I don’t believe that. I was born and grew up in Meknes, Morocco.  My family is a pretty small standard family, there is me and my little brother and of course both my parents.

So far, my life has been an ordinary story. Since I graduated from high school, my parents and me argued a lot about the degree that I was going to study. After that, I went to France to study engineering; nevertheless, I ended up studying musicology. I always wanted to become a musician; therefore, I successfully passed the audition to be admitted at the musicology department.  I studied music for about two years and half, until one day something happened. At this stage of my life I was happy and proud of what I was doing, until they announced to me that my student visa have been refused. I was constrained to come back to my country, which eventually I did. As far a the experience in France is concerned, I was very confused of what I was supposed to do with my future, was it the end? Did I fail ? my parents supported me as well as my friends; moreover, I decided to apply for AUI. I was admitted and I was really happy about it; it felts like a fresh start to me. Now that I am in AUI, even though I am studying business, I am really motivated to a brilliant future. I am very lucky to be here, I hope that in a few years I will achieve my goals. If I have to describe what I want to be, I would say that mainly I want to work all over the world. I will work in many companies, maybe one day I will start my own company. Right now I’m really focusing on building a strong knowledge in different fields, and a get as much profits as possible during my degree here in AUI.  By this time next year, I will try to apply for an exchange in the US to improve my English as well as visit this huge country. Despite all the deceptions I have met in my life, I am keeping myself very optimistic and I will work hard to reach my purposes in life.  Failure is not and end; most importantly, it is a warning and a bridge to a new perspective for success. 

New semester

Hi, my name is Mahmoud Aboulkassim. I was born in Meknes ,and I lived there for 2 years ,then I moved to Azrou. I have one brother who is studying at AUI and one sister. My grand-mother and my grand-father are living with us; because of that the house is always full of people. I was always complaining about the noise ,but since I moved to AUI, I have started  missing the old days. I like playing guitar and specially the country music.  I found it very deep and full of love. I wish I will became an engineer in the future or even create my own company,that's why I choose computer science as my major. I love swimming and I could make my dream come true by going every day to the AUI swimming pool. I love sports because they help me to relax and be in a good shape. There is nothing better than sport to make your day better.
One of my favorite pass time is playing videogames;however, I became to being addict to it.
This is why stopping videogames became my new resolution this year. When I left AUI it was snowing ,and when I came back it was still snowing. It's  little bit sad because I hate cold.I think it's not going to stop because it snow's this morning.What can we do about the weather; we can just hope that the spring will come early this year, and with it a good weather.    

Dear Mrs, Jorden and dear GAC 1002 Student’s,

My name is Imane Achakkoua , I was born in Azrou on 18^th, July 1993. I studied my primary school in Azrou, and studied high school in Ifrane. When I graduated from high school, I didn’t decide where I could continue my studies, but at the last minute I choose Al Akhawayn University. This decision was made because of several things: first of all, being near to my home town is one of the most things that pushed me to take this decision. Also, visiting my family every weekend was another push, and doing my laundry. Moreover, I like very much the method of studies in AUI and the Language Centre that helped the entire freshman to improve their mastery of the English Language and to improve my vocabulary skills. Also the campus life is helpful for the student like me to be responsible for themselves. Besides anything we need is available. Right now I am a BA student. I study GAC 2 with Anas who is from azrou too, who I didn't know him before. I play sport, also I like dancing that’s why I joined the salsa club last Tuesday. This semester I will make a plan for joining in all the trips that are offered by the University for discovering of other cultures and civilizations. By this time next year I hope that I will be finished my 30 credits in order to allow me the opportunity to continue my study abroad for one semester, I hope to get my bachelor and study for the master to achieve my goal in life which is get a good job, and build a small family.

Hello Earth !

                                                    Hello Earth ! 

    As my friends know I’m Eliass Mahboub , I’m 19 years-olds , and I’m from Rabat the capital of
Morocco. I have one sister 17 years-olds and brother 14 years-olds.

I have a family inside and outside Morocco. I love and I miss them all. After I got my diploma from

high school, I went to Germany, and I studied one semester. I went back to Morocco to get my

Bachelor.Now I’m studying at Akhawayn University in Ifrane which is town and ski resort in the

Middle Atlas region of Morocco. It’s true that the climate is not same as the city where I come from,

but I’m trying to get used to. My activities are watching TV, hanging out with friends, and having a

good time. I like also sports especially football, I practice every week.  I also see the match of my

favorite team in weekend in stadium. I like to travel over the world. I visited Germany, Belgium,

Austria, Spain and other different countries. I like to know others cultures, and to know how each

people lives .I also visited different regions in my country Morocco. I generally enjoy the life. At my

new life at Al Akhawayn University, I have made a new friends who I can count on them .Back to

studies, my major is Computer Science, but I will switch it to Business of Administration.Now I’m learning English at The Language Center. After that I hope I will get my bachelor then I will study more to get my master . My objective in life is to get a good job and a comfortable future.

Dear GAC 1002 04 student’s and dear Mrs. Jordan,

    I will take this opportunity to introduce and talk about my self. My name is FAHD ACHAHBAR; I was born on the 18^th of December 1995 in TETOUAN, so basically I am 18 years old. After I graduated from high school, I decided to continue my education at Al Akhawayn University in IFRAN. I have chosen BA ( Business Administration ) as my major, because I have always dreamt about having a company of my own and being a successful businessman. On the other hand, I speak Arabic, English and Spanish, and I want to improve my skills in French. I also want to learn Germany and Sweden. In addition to this, I like to play football. Since I was 10 years old, I started to play and watch football and enjoying it, and since that time it becomes my biggest obsession. In 2006 I was enrolled in a football team back home, and for many years I received several awards for being the best player of the team and for the best mild fielder in the Moroccan League for amateur. Furthermore, I was giving the honor to be the captain of the team, and that was the best gift from my team. Beside football, I also like to play basketball and tennis, and I also enjoy swimming when I have free time. Moreover, I like to help people and to be an active person, that why I often volunteer to engage in charity cases. For the past semester I was within the club Hand in Hand; it is an association that helps the poor people and especially children by providing them the necessary equipment to have a better life. Last but not least, I enjoy traveling to other cities and countries. By this time next year I hope that I would be earned my 30 credit, in order to study abroad for one semester. So, what about the rest of you?

Hello Guys ,  My name, is Anas Bouskouk . I ‘am from Azrou .I was born in 4^th  August 1996  . I am in my second semester at AUI . I am going to tell you a little bit about my background , interests , and goals .I was born in a small city called Azrou . Azrou , is located about 17 km far from Ifrane .My everyday activities ,  included going to school, playing foot-ball or  basket-ball    , watching television , and hangging out with my freinds . Since I graduated from High School ,  I have had the passion to become an engineer in the world of computers , so I choose to integrate Alakhawayn University in Ifrane  , flap seen it’s advanced programs based on the Americans university . Furthermore, It’s considred like one of the best universities in Morocco . So that I Choose CS as my major . Now ,  I am focused to acheiving my goal including Learning english at the language center , and also participating in some charity activity  with my university . However , I speak Arabic , French , Englich , and I am looking to improve my skills in  Spanish . So far I have  made new relationships with some lovely people here . Nevertheless , I always enjoyed , reading , writing , and doing Maths and Physics .. Otherwise ,  I really love to listen to Quran , because it helps me te be more relaxed . By the end of the semestre, I hope that I will improve my skills in english . Finally , I hope That I will pass all the course with  an A  and also to be one of the best student at AUI .  So , How about you guys ?

Hello GAC 1002 class,

I hope you are doing well and are enjoying your day. Today I will talk a little bit about myself and what I have done so far. First of all, my name is RIDA ELBOUSTANI, and I was born in KHOURIBGA on 24^th April 1995. I have a family that I love and miss every day since I came to AUI. They all live inside morocco except my brother who live in Belguim. He prepare his bachelor in maritime science. When I graduated from high school I decided to focus on engineering studies, but AUI was not my first choice. I applied for many schools especially in France, and I was accepted in one of them. However, I had some problems dealing with administrative issues such as the VISA, so I decided to stay in morocco and join ALAKHAWAYN UNIVERSITY In IFRANE. I have chosen AUI because it is known as the best university in morocco thanks to its American system and the quality of education. My major at AUI is engineering and management science (EMS) because I am so interested in engineering. This is my second semester here, and I love the residential life. This is the most important leaving and learning experience in our life because it is the first time when we live away from home. I have made new relationships and met with a lot of people from different cities and with different backgrounds. That’s one of the major benefits from being student in an international university such as AUI. It help us to exchange ideas and know more about different cultures. I hope I will do well with my courses and get the bachelor and why not the master degree in software engineering. By this time next year hopefully I will go for an exchange to the United States or Germany. How about you dear friends?
